From http://www.witness.org & http://www.iccwomen.org | Bukeni Waruzi is program manager for Africa & the Middle East at WITNESS. He will be traveling to Bukavu, in the Democratic Republic of Congo. From October 14-18th, activists for women's rights will gather in Bukavu for the third annual World March of Women to highlight the ongoing targeting of women for gender-based violence in the eastern DRC.

WITNESS will train 13 representatives from groups in the DRC whose organizations belong to the Women's Initiative network [ http://www.iccwomen.org ]. The activists will be trained in the basics of how to incorporate video into their human rights advocacy campaigns.
