Bowes Moor (A66, gentle descent) over Xmas at 90mph+ (94 tops) for seven miles in my mother's 93,000 miles 1983 2CV (std car, engine original and never apart), according to the satnav.
2CVs tend to try and take off over 100mph.
Dyanes much better in that respect, those with uprated or supercharged engines quite stable at 100+.
Far better in a CX Turbo. Penzance (4pm) to Scotch Corner (8.33pm). That was about 5 years ago, really upset the BMWs on the A30 through Cornwall and Devon.

...hence the piss-take with the never-ending, slow-moving music, jokes at the expense of some of the drivers?
Compare with other YouTubes on 24hr 2CV -trying to make it all look cool, ego-boosting and spell-binding stuff when in reality it's really just a atatement to those who don't know what a French idea of a peasant's car is.
Some take themselves so seriously, on or off a race track. But there are plenty who know when to laugh and enjoy themselves - especially those from Porsche UK.
