Front row perspective while riding on Alpengeist at Busch Gardens Williamsburg.
Description from Wikipedia:
Alpengeist is the tallest and fastest full-circuit inverted roller coaster in the world. Alpengeist opened in 1997 at Busch Gardens Williamsburg. It was built by Bolliger & Mabillard and features six inversions: an Immelmann loop, vertical loop, cobra roll, zero G roll, and a wing over.
Upon exiting the station, the floor drops beneath the riders feet and the riders ascend the 195-foot-tall chain lift[1] after hearing the send-off recording "Thank you and enjoy your avalanche of adventure on Alpengeist!", although in the 2010 season it has been changed to, "This year Alpengeist turns 12; feel the roar of the avalanche!" Then, riders are swept to the right after seeing a view of the Anheuser-Busch Williamsburg brewery and looking up on Griffon and descend 170 feet, going past The Land of The Dragons, hitting 67 miles per hour.[1] Following the drop, passengers go into an enormous Immelmann loop, which is a half loop with a twist at the top. After the Immelmann loop, riders go into a 104-foot vertical loop. A large cobra roll follows over the Rhine River, right next to the Loch Ness Monster and Griffon. The block brake comes after a high-speed curve. Immediately after the block, a drop that goes right into a zero-G roll that gives airtime right beside the "Le Scoot" log flume. After a corkscrew and a helix, the train brings the riders into the station.

This was the first inverted roller coaster that I ever rode. It was awesome, but I only rode it once and hardly remember anything. I live in Oklahoma now, I don't ever see riding it again, but you never know.

I remember riding it too, in the late 90's. Haven't been back since, but would love to. Alpengeist was an awesome coaster! The lift hill and then the turn to the right, reminds me of Top Gun, the Jet Coaster at Carowinds. It's called Afterburner now i think.
