Thanks for a great presentation. That is an exceptional tool, unfortunately being bridge city I would expect well beyound my budget. There is always the lottery.

I just discovered Bridge City and this tool last night. While I shouldn't spend the money right now, I can't help but look for videos like yours to build a solid foundation of rationalizations for why I should but it anyway. I was wondering about ripping, and your video was the first good demonstration I've found showing the possibilities. Since your video has been up for some time, I wonder what other applications you've devised for this tool.

Bridge City has quite a few good videos that show some of the things they learned that could be done. It is a remarkable tool that takes a bit of getting used to. It is limited to smaller sizes of wood up to about 1.25 in thickness. Ripping up to about 4 inches long. The pattern matches are very close as the blade is very thin. It is a pleasure to use and well thought out. The newer version has ball bearings which makes it even smoother and cutting with less resistance.
