Similar to the Hexbug Inchworm and following on from the huge success of the Hexbug Nano comes the Hexbug Spider. This creepy crawly walking robot is one of the coolest toys we've seen this year. If you've ever wanted to act out your own scene from War of the Worlds (where your lego men are stomped by strange tripod-like robots) then these are the little critters you need.

With six robotic legs and a head that rotates through 360 degrees, the level of control you have over your Hexbug Spider is fantastic. Take one step or many, turn quickly or slowly, it's up to you.

The Hexbug Spider has one LED eye that lights up when it turns and there's five different colours to choose from too! The dual band control also means that two spiders can be used at the same time in case you wanted to stop beating up your lego men and pit two Spiders against each other instead.
