What is it, the "L---" word?

Can it be measured?

How many teaspoons equal one touch?

Can you time it? when it starts and stops?

Does it come and go through a seive?

Is it a mountain of grain
with a few weevil husks thrown in,
to be sifted out later?

Does a mother's come by the gallon?

Is a daughter's a batter of baking powder and sourdough
with a drizzle of maple syrup on top?
Does fermentation help?
How many litres equal 62 contractions?

Is 'need' the leavening agent?
Will love rise higher if it is not kneaded?

Does 1/4 litre of need equal 2/3 C of pain?

Can we make a cake out of it? A birthday cake?

Does being both a mother and a daughter
require you to double the recipe?

Does discussion clarify, like butter brought
to high heat, separating milk solids from the pure gold?

What the hell is it, anyway

Should we be thinking about it at all, or just
take it with a grain of salt.

  • Do you really think there is only one perfect mate? Well then how can you be certain to find them? And if you do find them, are they really the one for you or do you only think they are? And what happens if the person you're supposed to be with never appears, or, or she does, but you're too distracted to notice?

  • I'm not even sure that there is one perfect mate. We could talk about this quite bit. Have you made a video asking these questions, then I would make you a video response. You could put this question here. I'm sure lots of people have the same question.

  • Brilliant! Loved the imagery (both visual and verbal). Especially liked the play on words with "needed" (kneaded). Best soliloquy on Love I have heard in a long time!

  • thanks for being quick witted

  • The tags for that video, "Nitrogen triiodide (touch powder)" were: Nitrogen triiodide explosive Iodine Ammonia bomb ammonium hydroxide iodine halogen bang boom explode science nitrogen Detonation

  • youtube recommended this video to me because I watched a video of an explosion of the compound nitrogen triiodide.

  • love your videos

  • You are wonderful!

  • And is everything just chance or are some things meant to be?

  • Then let's say God puts two people on Earth and they are lucky enough to find one another. But one of them gets hit by lightning. Well then what? Is that it? Or, perchance, you meet someone new and marry all over again. Is that the lady you're supposed to be with or was it the first? And if so, when the two of them were walking side by side were they both the one for you and you just happened to meet the first one first or, was the second one supposed to be first?

  • I love your visual effort in this video. So thought provoking. If the pain of love doesn't create something artistic, then we have no reward. Imagine how many invisible masterpieces we view daily and have no idea. Thank you for sharing this.
