  • So the RS170's fix the sound leackage problem since they're closed design, but i'm guessing they don't sound quite as good as the RS180's. But what I'm really interested in 'wireless aside', is the simulated Surround sound feature for gaming....Just curious how it sounds since you never mentioned it in you review? Would love to use surround for Wii gaming. ;)

  • @Donatello97 The surround sound feature is pretty good actually. With regards to the sealed nature of the headphones, it really depends on preference. I personally tend to like sealed versus open headphones. Hope this helps!

  • What are better rs 170 or 180 please reply Thank you! Tell me wich version! Thanks

  • @44445au The RS170's are sealed while the RS180's are open. The RS170's also have a shorter effective range. Hope this helps!

  • @TekBeatTV By sealed and open what do you mean? sorry im a noob :[

  • @44445au Sealed versus not essentially is letting you know if the headphones themselves seal around the ears (closing out ambient sound) or more open allowing airflow and ambient noise to seap in. Hope this helps!

  • Nice video. I've been doing my research on finding a great pair of wireless headphones and have heard good things about Senhizer's wireless headphones.

Can you tell me if these wireless headphones will work with I-pod Nanos? I have the6th generation at the moment.

    Thanks.

  • I think it has to do with the type of frequency the headset uses. the rs120 uses the 926 mhz while the rs170 uses the 2.4 ghz. I think 900's generally are able to permeate walls better then 2.4's.

  • can you plug these headpghohones directly into a 3.5mm jack?

just for general use with my iphone when i am on the bus and stuff

  • Hi mate,

I had the Sennheiser RS120. And now I bought the RS180. But I noticed that with RS120, in certain rooms of the house, behind walls etc., when the signal was weaker, never cut the sound completely, just made a little noise.

With RS180, so there is a slight loss of signal, it cuts through the sound, which makes their use a little annoying. Why this difference? When the RS180 cost three times more expensive than the RS120?

    :/

  • @freeworld789 You should be able to but the station will still need to be connected to your computer and you will need the connection ports as well. Hope this helps!
