Wow, I wouldn't dare taking mine out so young. The leashes are built with juveniles and adults in mind. Babies are just far too small for the leashes to work right

omg i had this happened to me 2!!!!! in my backyard and he ran to my nextdoor neighbours veggie garden and i found him ontop of a tomatoe plant lol
HERES A BIG NOTE TO ANYONE, LEASHES FOR IGUANAS SUCK ASS!
-
leashes do nothing really, pray your iguana is female though they are mean whenthere males
-
my iguana is really big and mean, I remember when he was a lil guy like yours

@amberxlynnn yea I had to learn to really take it slow with mine. Now he sits on my shoulder in a leash outside. Sometimes if I think he can handle it I let him bask on the deck table. But that never lasts long before he's running like crazy.

that bird scared the shit outta it

do not do that my brother did that and the lizzards leg came of and died
You are so lucky you got him back! Mine escaped up a tree and we had to use a pool net to get him down. I was flipping out. Mine has escaped through leashes that are too loose too. So glad you had a happy ending!!!
