@DomokomoNeyo Even without a handle, you can lift the rod connecting from the key lock to the latch which pulls the release. The are made to activate without the lock obstructing the motion for that reason.

what if u get trapped in the trunk, and youre at high speeds on a freeway or a thruway and you pop open the trunk... running out is NOT a safe move at high speeds if youre kidappped / hostage on a freeway / thruway... hope the seats in the back are kickable to enter the back of the car
