Shadow Universities and Skills Minister David Willetts MP paid a visit to the University of Winchester on Monday April 12.
University Chancellor Tommy Geddes led David and Steve on a tour of the campus, where they were joined by Professor Liz Stuart, SU President Seb Miell and members of the Winchester Student Conservative Society.
After the tour, the group discussed many of the hot topics surrounding Higher Education, including student fees, the structure of the university, Conservative plans for an extra 10,000 University places to be made available, post-degree employment prospects and studentification in Stanmore.
In this clip, David and Steve discuss the positive impact a new Conservative government would have in the Higher Education field, and the challenges to be faced as this recession has disproportionately affected young people.
