Archeologists say they have found the remains of the first dwelling in Nazareth that can be traced to the time of Jesus, a find that could illuminate what the hamlet was like during the time the New Testament says Jesus lived there as a boy. (Dec. 21)

  • An Atheist fundamentalist said: "The IAA report makes no mention of first-century remains"

From IAA's own website: "The artifacts recovered from inside the building were few and mostly included fragments of pottery vessels from the Early Roman period (the first and second centuries CE)." tinyurl*com/3gmkvfj

The level of denial is obscene, unless of course this was intentional disinformation, then it's hideous malice. You couldn't trust these animals (by their admission) to tell you the time!

  • @megalopistos I fully agree with what you just wrote. The title of this video is misleading, and the content misinforms about the actual discovery.

  • @megalopistos As I said, there is NO evidence whatsoever of any house of "the time of Jesus" being found.

  • @exacerbatedtaboo

Can you see the feeling named or called love, no !

However you can see that through acts and speeches and deeds.

  • @molldrumlish he might say "big whoop". These archaeologists may have found evidence of a two thousand year old Jewish settlement. But is that really a surprise? There is nothing to link the bible stories to such relics. This video is just a whole lot of spin to sell an ordinary find and feed the local tourism.

  • I wonder what James Randi would say about this?

  • No “house from the time of Jesus” has been found at Nazareth. At this time, the official release from the IAA (Israel Antiquities Authority) is the primary report and ultimate source of information on this excavation. The IAA report makes no mention of first-century remains, much less of evidence from the turn of the era. As is normal, statements going beyond it must be supported by the presentation of verifiable evidence, and statements contradicting it must be viewed with skepticism.

  • These "discoveries" are being sponsored by Israel's Government Tourist Corporation. This same "archaeologist", Yardena Alexandre, claimed not so long ago (2004) she had discovered the location of Jesus' first miracle in Cana, presentting some old jars to the media as "evidence". Information makes you powerful.

  • @megalopistos All Randi claims against the existence of nazareth as described in the Bible remain true.
