@microscepter Good for you. American / Irish and British humour are very different. The only US programme in which I ever detected the use of sarcasm was Married With Children. Which other programmes from this side of the Atlantic do you watch? Last two that I discovered were Peep Show and The Inbetweeners. Also like Trailer Park Boys, a production from your northern neighbours.

I wish other Americans could pick up on just how genius Father Ted is.. the wit and sarcasm in this wonderfully scripted and performed show is just freaking legendary!! Thank God for my beautiful Irish Girlfriend for introducing this Silly Yank to something so hilariously exceptional!! :)
