Written by Richard Addinsell for the 1941 film "Dangerous Moonlight" (also known under the later title "Suicide Squadron"). The popular song "The World Outside" sung by The Four Aces and The Four Coins is based on the theme of this piano concert.

  • forever beautiful!!!

  • I found a 78 record of my fathers in the hall cupboard when I was about six (1958) and played it often and to me it encompasses just about every emotion a piece of music could give you... a perfect length... amazing with current technology to listen to all of the different versions... up there with Rodrigo's Concierto de Aranjuez!... just the best...

  • Greetings and many tks indeed for your reply.

  • @berorocao I was a little older than 5 myself, but very young. I used to have an album by 101 Strings Orchestra with this music on it. I'm now 63 and I've loved this piece of music all these years. My first love was the piano. I used to listen to Liberace on TV around the noon hour with his brother playing the violin. Wow what memories!.....I'm a great lover of the pipeorgan now too.........peace

  • magnificent!!!!!!!1
