Which Samsung Android phone is the best? Aaron does a dogfight between the Samsung Galaxy Nexus and Samsung Epic 4G Touch, two top notch (yes, top notch) Android devices. The Galaxy Nexus is available on Verizon Wireless for $299 and packs a 1.2 GHz dual-core TI OMAP processor, 4.65-inch Super AMOLED HD (720p) display, 5-megapixel camera with 1080p HD video recording, a front-facing camera, 1 GB RAM, a 1,850 mAh battery, and Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). The Epic 4G Tocuh packs a 1.2 GHz dual-core Exynos processor, 4.52-inch Super AMOLED Plus display, 8-megapixel camera with 1080p HD video recording, a front-facing camera, and Android 2.3 with TouchWiz 4.0.

You've got Ice Cream Sandwich on one, but a better spec list on the other. Which one will win the dogfight? Dive in and find out! Part 1 of 2.

  • great review an my sister got the galaxy nexus an l got the galaxy S2 EPIC TOUCH AN SEEING UR REVIEWS OF BOTH PHONE MY EPIC IS THE BEST EVEN THE IPOD PHONE FROM MY BRO WIZ APPS AN SPEED THE EPIC IS MUCH BETTER FOR NOW AND THANK U FOR UR REVIEW AN TAKING UR TIME SO L GOT THE EPIC :) > *,,,*<

  • I hate when people talk about the screen size of the Galaxy Nexus. IT'S 4.5" unless you play movies since those stupid on screen buttons take up .15" I'ts a friggin marketing ploy. so minus the onscreen button (aside from video playback) it has the exact same size screen as the Epic 4G Touch or Skyrocket LMAO. I told this to a Verizon rep in-store and he measured and was like "hmmm you have an excellent point". still a killer device by any standard, I just hate fake specs.

  • @TRonlyOne You would be surprised at how strong it is. It can be bent from end to end and not crack. I thought it was flimsy at first also, but it is very resilient.

  • @KaiStephens theoretical speeds are pretty close. 4g Speed is not the problem. Problem lies in the FQ that Sprint uses and the 3g is in desperate need of an overhaul. How fast do you really think your phone needs to get to the internet? Anything over 4 to 5mbps is overkill. Well unless you are actually tethering 8 pcs. Otherwise just a marketing ploy of fanboys to fight over. I perfer the Exynos over the TIOMap anyday.

  • @narukesharingan1 yea he lost a LOOOOOOT of w8.
