my 9th song to write - Heartache (acoustic)

wanted to write a song about Love and suicide, and this is what came out ... i figure ill get better if i keep trying.

there i am laying in the corner of my room
all my friends aint seen me in a week or two
i aint cleaned a thing around this old house
since the day our divorce was through

love, emotions, go figure
turns out that girl was so much bigger
i see that now that my life fades away
sometimes lord i wish she had stayed

i have the same old bottle in my hand
lord knows getting drunk wasnt my plan
it hit me so hard that i couldnt stand
and i know the phone ringing is probably some old friends

i cant take looking at my self these days
so im glad my brother came to visit today
he brought a couple of friends to help carry me away
i hated to see him cry that way
i know it wasnt you intentions at all
to make me think it was all my fault

of all the heartache it would bring
to all my love ones who had been so true

i guess we can just put it all on fate
now i watch all the good people everyday
walking around visiting their love ones graves
truth is she hasnt came since that day
and i guess i was selfish anyway.
