I have the album...had no idea he was only 22 and it's so cool to see him playing here - and the Houston Cosmic Cowboy? Oh, yeah - Texas country - Guy Clark, Rusty Weir, folks at Anderson Fair - Roseanna Cash's husband...grew up in Houston off of Wayside Drive, son of a barhop at an all night dive....
I so miss songs that tell stories - with a twang. Jimmy's great for grapefruit, juicy fruit...but I gotta have the twang!

Since I found your Willis videos, I can not stop watching them. Now I have to get myself to Austin and see him when he's at Threadgill's. I can't believe I still have this chance. Man he can really sing and play that D-18!

When I was 11 a friend of my older brother came back to Ohio from Austin with a brand new record, just out. I wore it out. Amazing to finally SEE him playing these songs. Thank you.

Horrifying to find he only put out one album, was twenty when he wrote the songs, about twenty two when he recorded them.
