On one hand, the police are just enforcing an order because they think it's in the best interest of safety. I just can't understand how they think they have the authority to do so. It would have been interesting to see how this would have played out in court, but I wouldn't have risked MY wallet on it... nice runs btw!

You see a river in flood, you get your boat out and go for a paddle. What is the problem?

America keep bleating on about freedom, so surely that should allow paddlers to paddle whatever river they like whenever they like?
