Here is a simple fat burning ab workout that you can do using only your bodyweight. No equipment necessary and it can be done anywhere!

Based on the Spartacus Workout Challenge from Men's Health magazine, this exercise protocol is comprised of 10 different exercises, done for 3 rounds. Perform each move for 60 seconds, as fast as you can with good form, followed by 15 seconds of rest. After the set, take a 2 minute break and go for 2 more rounds of the same circuit or do what I sometimes do - combine it with a round or two of kettlebell moves.

  • Holla! Have you considered - fast abs magic (just google it)? Ive heard some interesting things about it and my father got beautiful 6 pack abs and lost lots of weight with it.

  • @LloydChristmas777 My thoughts exactly! I'm a busy person and need the most bang for the buck when I workout, so I'd do one that gets my heart rate up, challenges my strength and conditioning, and will burn fat. Most times it'd take the form of lifting, squatting, pulling, and pushing heavy things, a quick kettlebell workout, and/or plyometrics. I still do enjoy the occasional rollerblading session though :)

  • @nemanjamoreheadcity, This is also cardio; in fact, I prefer this to things like running (not that there's anything wrong with running) because it works strength and endurance, burning calories at a higher rate in less time. Go 60 seconds hard with kettlebells or battling ropes, and compare it to 60 seconds of hard running, and I think you'll know what I mean.
