Brian Griffin - "Closure" COTSE Performance 2002

Here is a video of Brian Griffin performing his original song "Closure" at the January 2002 meeting of the Central Ohioans To Stop Executions (COTSE) The meeting was held to discuss options to oppose the upcoming execution of John Byrd that February 19. Two days before this meeting, a protest was held outside the mansion of then Governor Bob Taft in freezing weather. Many other protests and international calls to stop the execution were raised. Despite all the efforts, Bryd was executed by the State of Ohio. This song is a reminder about the flaws in the death penalty and that killing someone won't bring another victim back.
