@the4000class Last time I was at John's house he had 3 full time guys working on it. I had to climb on top of the layout and lie on my back to change the ballasts in the fluorescent fixtures. I understood at that time, around 1995, he had over 3 million dollars into it.

I have never seen anything so beautyfull and so clean,by clean I mean,it looks like you took a computer picture and you placed it on your layout.Not even the ones I have seen in museums are as nice! Did you have professional builders build it for you?
