Hi, This is My Scratch Built Katana profile Foamie, Made from 9mm Depron, 49" WS, and 45" Length, I made it from a Picture of a full body Katana, for a scratch build Contest at Wattflyers.com Wish me Luck, This plane flies great, my friend Steve is flying the Plane, and I am doing the Video, this is the second flight on this Plane, It has a 3536 Turnigy 1100kv motor, a 40 amp esc 10x4.7 prop, and 4- 9 gram hextronic digital servos, and a 2350mah 3 cell 25C lipo, I am really happy the way this Plane turned out, Take care, Chellie

  • cool plane Chellie.!

  • Nice flying ;-D

  • so depron is a foam. But this means it's not flexible right? I need some kind of material for my wings, that I can fold over or into the wing shape if u know what I mean.

  • Do a quick Google search and you will fine all you need to know about Depron. Has very many uses but I think it was originally as a carpet/tile underlay for insulation.

  • Sorry if I sound REALLY noobish, but I don't realy know anything about depron... I thought it was the stuff used to cover the plane.

Could some one tell me the "characteristics" of this material? Can I build an entire rc plane just with depron? (I mean fuselage and wings and etc.) And if so, whith what do you cut it? Will a knife do?
