emo is short for emotional. you can't write a song without some sort of emotion. therefor all songs are emo songs.
the emo culture created itself out of misinterpreting bands confessional songs. emo fashion is stupid, emo culture is ridiculous, and people sniping at each other by throwing the word 'emo' around is juvenile. everyone just shut up and appreciate the song.
