Hailing from the UK, The Elijah have given BlankTV the honour (hehe) of world premiering their first official music video for the track "I, Destroyed" off their forthcoming full-length, due in 2012.

Directed by Jordan Green, the video is a cinematic take on the feelings of isolation and the seeming destruction of self in the wake of a failed relationship. Green further separates the artists from the narrative by leaving the band members out of the clip entirely.

I actually like how harsh his screams are. They're unique, and refreshing. Although it clashes a little with the ambient, mellow mood, it emphasises the meaning. And makes the song heavier, lyrically and vocally.
