WHEre to eat? That is the question. Will be staying at the sagebrush inn located 3 miles south of Taos for three days, m-w. Looking forward to seeing the beauty of Taos and hopefully, eating some good food. Thanks

Just outside the Taos Pueblo is the Tiwa Kitchen Restaurant featuring tribal food. I remember eating something really great for lunch, but can't be more specific. This was the only meal I recall from my trip to New Mexico in 2000. A quick internet search reveals that the Tiwa Kitchen is still there. I suggest giving it a try.

I really do appreciate such a short, kind and generous comment. That's the feeling I got from Taos, both the town and the pueblo.

Wish more people were positive like you, rather than engaging in attacks upon ethnic groups, which force me to be a censor in other threads.

But we have also discovered Las Vegas, New Mexico. The food in New Mexico is in Las Vegas, a town that does not have national chains, and cherishes local ownership and traditional cooking. Take a look at the You Tube site benboothe to see a video of the Best Food of Northern New Mexico.
