@bradrenfro1974 Thanks for the help. I finally did the swap, best mod I've done besides frpp hot rods. Overall I didn't see a milage drop, which was great. Made the car way more fun to drive for sure.

@bradrenfro1974 i see boost at 3k rpm so on the highway i keep my factory mpg and when i get on it ive never had issues hitting 140mph. u would love it, just sux u dont get the whipple whine, but u get a awesome blow off gush! vids of my trans breaking and me hitting 140 are in my vids. look for mustang cruising and transmission snap in my video section. im saving for the streetfighter trans from TCI Auto. $3100 for the trans and 3000rpm stall..and yes, my car is a auto, but i dont miss gears!

@bradrenfro1974 ....added a shift kit and the trans held pretty well until about 2 months ago when my car shifted from 2nd into 3rd and i twisted my input shaft snapping it off into my torque converter. A local shop heard about it and offered me a factory trans out of another 05 for 300 and since thats all i had i took it and had the car dialed to just 4lbs( roughly 445-450hp) and adjusted the shift pressure to make this one last, but to answer, i love the paxton, a belt driven turbo....

@bradrenfro1974 I failed to mention the 8 rib belt and pully swapp... on a sea level dyno pull the car made 485 hp @5lbs of boost with the out the box tune with only the blower before i had any other mods. after the belt and pully swapp, and the internals we were able to hit 575hp with 8 to 10 lbs of boost. The shop went for a 15lb setting but my factory transmission broke a servo, clutch and band. had a guy rebuild the trans and did a fancy chrio freeze deal to the input and output shaft....
I have 4.10 gear in my 05 stang and it has thrown the speedometer way off. It shows that I'm going alot faster than I really am. I had it reprogrammed and the problem still exists. Anyone know how to fix this?

@joshvsmith I have the Superchips tuner (I think it's the X3). In it there is a place to enter that you have 4.10 gears, but if I remember correctly, you have to do it every time you make a change. Good luck, I did it once and it feels and looks very strange to have the tach and speedo not moving in sync to what it should be.

nice stang man. What do you top out at in 4th gear with the 4.10s?

@2K9GT Thanks! And you know, I've never topped it out entirely. I've had it to about 125 or so, but she still had quite a bit left.
