Senator Sam Aanestad (R-Grass Valley) rose to defend Arizona's immigration reform efforts -- after that effort was compared to the Armenian Genocide of 1915. Senator Aanestad -- the conservative and experienced voice of the California State Legislature -- pointed out that Arizona's new law contains the same wording as federal immigration law that is rarely -- if ever -- enforced on the federal level.

  • BYE MEXICANTS! America does not need any more uneducated, disease infested, child molesters, kidnappers, welfare recipients, social security number thieves, gang banging, little fat round troll people that commit crimes....You are obviously not welcome here, so Please go back to your own country. Go back over the fence, through the hole you dug, and swim back across the sewage pool you used to get here and take all of your drugs, anchor babies, sob stories and bad attitudes with you.

Both legal immigration and illegal immigration are bad. All immigration must be stopped.

  • Real immigration reform would be enforcing the laws that we already have. What they call reform is just making it worse.

  • @mmunson - PART 2

... can you imagine someone who is 18-19 to come here and work as a housekeeper! NO they get those? visas to come and see USA.

After they come here it takes them 2-3 months to be trained and to get used to the job!

But guess what, their visas are only for 5-6 months! So I have to hire other lazy kids from somewhere in order to have them legally here... and lose 3 months to train them!

The current visas and immigration laws are waste of time and resources for everybody!

  • @mmunson - Part 1

The thing about the legal immigration is a myth!

I work in the hotel industry and I know very well how our immigration system works! The truth is that it doesn't meet the demand of the businesses 90% of the time!

Lets say I need 20 housekeepers! They won't let me hire the people already here! I have to hire some students from Europe or Asia to come here and clean rooms!

Well there is a little problem with that. 99% of those student come here to have fun not to work...

  • @goru426 Problem is your side makes it into illegal immgrants into immigrants,. Saying that if we attack illegal immigrants its an attack on immigrants who are here legally. obscuring the fact that America respects people who do it legally and proper.

illegal immigrants are criminals. legal immigrants are good.

  • The republicans are taking the wrong path!

They don't want to pass immigration law! They don't want to understand what the real problems in this country are!

Looks like what they want is to deport all the people of color in USA! Well bad for you Republicans!
