Mi dispiace ma quello che ha cucinato non è frico . Ci sono 2 tipi di frico di patate e quello friabile . Comunque la sua ricetta è molto interessante e sicuramente non mancherà occasione di usarla ciao e grazie un saluto dal Italia dal Friuli patria del Frico .

I can make something similar to that with a microwave and 2 1/2 minutes

For one, stop smelling your poop. For two, sometimes the canned stuff taste better, depending on what you're cooking. There's a certain "tang?" taste that works well for meats and such when you're using fresh parmesan, but when it comes to alfredo sauces, I find the cheap stuff in the can taste much better. So, it depends. Happy eating,

I saw that, too, but it's her food. She can take a dump and make the crisps if she wants; now, if she made them for ME or YOU after taking the dump, well then by golly we have a problem, don't we? Let her have her crisps the way she wants them.
can other cheese kinds be cooked that way? like mozzarella or provolone

not mozzarella, and not provolone but you could use asiago, pecorino romano, Grana Padano, Swiss Sbrinz ... any hard cheese that can readily be grated
