Afghan war gets tanks as NATO struggles

The US lead NATO mission in Afghanistan is heating up while NATO itself struggles with the costs and its own existence. NATO, first conceived as a balance to the Soviet Union during the Cold War is looking for relevance in the 21st century. Brian Becker, the national director for the A.N.S.W.E.R. Coalition said, there is no relevance and NATO is merely an arm of US military strategy. He explained the Obama administration now has to twist the arms of European governments to keep them involved in the Afghan war as the political and economic costs increase. Meanwhile, the US has now decided after 10 years to deploy M1 Abrams tanks to combat zones in Afghanistan; a "shock and awe" tactic explained Becker.

this guy doesn't know what he's talking about when dealing with military actions - we destroy a few of the houses because they're ied making buildings or known firing positions. but while i was over there, most of the buildings that got destroyed were because our guys were getting shot at from them at the time - we use artillery, mortars, or close air support while in contact.

The USMC M1A1 Abrams going blast Taliban out of the mountain. Unlike Soviet Tanks which have poor armor, lack of thermal sight, and laser targeting sights. The M1 Abrams have strongest armour, thermal sight, and laser targeting sights. The M1 Thermals sights could see Taliban in the mountain and blast them into pieces. Because US is somewhere on the order of 50 times bigger than the Canadian economy and when they get into trouble, they get it from their north american sister, the US. The reason Russia will not take Canada is because it would cause world war with the US.
