Designing a robot to look just like a human is not smart. Why complicate things with all the fiddly bits? Articulated feet and toes? Look at amputee athletes with those spring legs - all you need are the hips and knees. All five digits? A thumb and two, maybe three fingers would work. A head with a neck? Useless and wasteful. Mount a camera and be done with it. It would still need to be the relative height and shape of a human, though, as everything we build is meant to interact with that shape.
