I useto ave this record player when i was little but it stopped working

@RetroCaptain i've seen some places i'll go in and ask! thanks! if that fails i'll contact you !

You should find someone who services stereos, tv's etc. The amplifier is in need of restoration. The parts are suffering from age, (& only last so long)
If cannot find, I know ppl who specialize in those things..let me know..

Good day,
I am a hobbyist with vintage electronics abt 25 yrs now. I likely have 1 that size and vintage in my stock..or if you wish to keep it completely original, I know a man who can recone it...in original paper..not foam (that foam surround is crap anyway)

@Jeffro321 Another standard size is 5x7. The trick is finding just one. Usually they're sold as pairs of car speakers. I've also seen 5x8's but it's unlikely. You might find an old Grundig on Ebay. That would be a great speaker to put in there!

@histatimaniples I have the same problem, not sure what the deal is.

Califones are great but I am having trouble finding a replacement speaker for my 1420 K. It looks like a 6x9 but it is not it is something smaller can anyone help?
Thanks

hot pants dude

jkman76 is there any way to hook an ipod to one of these like thru an aux input, or maybe if I found a busted one of these somewhere in the trash or something and the main amp still works maybe rigging an aux input to the main amp and bypassing the preamp i dunno

On the one i have the only jack there is, is a "external speaker jack" so you cant feed a signal into it. However some models do have inputs and as such all you should need is a patch cord plugged into the headphone jack of the ipod and a adapter to plug it into the large jack.
