Ferrari 512BBi Boxer with open headers

1983 Ferrari 512BBi Berliinetta Boxer (#46189) running with open headers, prior to installing new aftermarket exhaust system. 5 -liter, horizontally opposed flat 12 cylinder engine. 340 horsepower. I couldn't resist firing it up to see what it sounded like open headers. The engine was cold, so I did not want to rev it up too high.

Webbers make a beautiful noise that is second to none imho.

@candycabngfl - It's a BBi. The "i" stands for injected. The 512BB had four weber 3-barrels.

This ranks up there with the best of them in terms of looks. My top 5 in terms of style would be the F355, F-40, 288 GTO, 512BB and the 250 GTO.

nothing in the world like a flat twelve Ferrari with no muffler.

Id take the non muffled car out on the road for a while and see what it's like.
