@alnilam66, Its funny, cause it takes absolutely no time at all to simply wire up a transformer with a ballast and draw an arc. Like, half an hour, tops, if you're retarded.

I agree, an arc horn bolted on is much better.
If the arc horn is of the correct size the bolts will not heat.

Dont arc to the terminal, you could screw up the bolt threads. Instead attach a little piece of solid wire to serve as an arcing horn.

yeah, i'd step back from that. And get a better arc-drawing stick. Try a 1"x 2' PVC tube
