LOVE this movie...it got a bad wrap, but those of us who know good cinema when we see it, know better and agree this is one of the best soundtracks I've ever heard. I wore out two cassettes as a teen because I listened to it so much.
The acting during this scene is phenomenal! The way she finally notices he's there and immediately starts singing to him and then "...when did I let you down, or did I leave you stranded..." The look on his face is amazing.

how come they can't make good movies like this nowadays? people are so focused in making sci-fi movies, very hightech, soo futuristic they forget how much people would want to see a romantic movie just like this. something that will leave a mark as a "great classic movie". something that people would look for after soo many years and will never get tired watching it over and over.
