  • This is *exactly* how I've done it the last six years, just gently toss them over! So super easy. I do it so fast now I don't even have to think about it. By the time they're toddlers they're so used to the routine they just instantly know what to do and the whole process is seamless. I do 'bounce' them waaaaay down though before I tie up. Good video mama! :D

  • Very thoughtful video.

    One thing to add: once you've got hold of both shoulder straps, firmly hold them up above your head while standing up straight & bounce baby firmly down into the bottom of the sling; then continue to tie straps over then under legs, etc.

    I see you show this to some extent in your other videos, 'Mei tai back carry 1' & 'Mei tai back carry 2' but in those examples she could be bounced down about 2-4 inches further so that she's in the bottom of the sling.
