An Amarillo legend recreated in San Jose, CA. Well, I just happened to be watching Man Vs. Food on the Travel Channel, when I saw a dish I just had to attempt to make. It was "The Burger From Hell" from the Coyote Bluff Cafe in Amarillo, Texas. It made my mouth water, and there was no way I was going to be able to go to Amarillo, Texas, so I decided to attempt to make my own "burger from hell". I used mostly the same methods they used, but instead I cooked it on the grill instead of the stove, and I had to custom make the patty out of ground beef. The resulting hamburger looked just like the real burger from hell. It also tasted really good, yet it was almost too spicy. In fact, it was the jalapenos that put it over the top, so in order to finish it up, I had to remove some of the jalapenos.
