you seem to be talking without much knowledge of what you are saying.
there are no huge range of notes.... just the double pans carries a lower range.
The amount of notes on a Low tenor/ D.Seconds is basically the same 29 to 31 notes.

i love playing pan, but honestly, why is everyone so obsessed tenors? double tenors (mannett modle) and double seconds are the bomb. huge range of notes.
