"Halvay manday say kaam" is an Urdu proverb literally meaning we are concerned only with our own pleasures, i.e. enjoying halva (sweets) only for ourselves. Such are people who do not care about their neighbours or about their environment. We then become selfish. Can we rise above our selfish needs and turn towards helping our neighbours and building a wholesome society where everyone is happy and lives a good life?

Sohail Rana converted these beautiful Urdu proverbs into song in order to explain to the children how these proverbs bring out the best of our values.

Sohail Rana' s children group sings this proverbial song.
