A US military judge dismissed the argument Friday that Guantanamo's youngest detainee, Omar Khadr, was a child soldier when captured in Afghanistan and therefore in need of protection and not prosecution. US Army Colonel Peter Brownback's ruling clears the way for Khadr's trial, which will be the first war crimes trial in history of anyone under the age of eighteen. [includes rush transcript]

According to the US's own invented "laws of war", killing and maiming millions of innocent non-American civilians is "fair game", but killing a single US soldier in self-defense is a "war crime".

The US government also assumes the public is dumb enough to believe a blinded kid with shrapnel in his eyes is capable of "murdering" someone... It's obvious they're using this kid as a scapegoat to hide the most likely fact that they killed their own soldier in a friendly fire...

Omar Khadr has just admitted to murder having changed his plea and deciding to tell the truth.

He is as he always has been a murderer and war criminal.

Thankfully he will never be free again and never will he be able to come back to nor be welcomed in Canada! He will like die in Gauntanamo..

It is a great day for justice, for the war on terror, and a great day for Canada!
