@mjtf1113 Might I also add that Chalmers is a brilliant man with years of research, teaching, and published literature on this matter. If you think you have the answers, (like I did), just read some of his work. Chalmers is not just a media darling, he is a genius.

@mjtf1113 Your approach is too reductionist. You account for biological processes but fail to integrate the psychology of those processes. Yes, you can map the mechanisms with biofeedback but that does not account for the emergent properties of combined atomic structures. I too am a monist materialist, but the more I read (actual academic literature from college databases) the more I am inclined to integrate the philosophy with the biology. BTW, religion has nothing to do with this.
