http://www.odalc.org - Inspire Oakland encourages interest in graphic design and information technologies through creative expression. The ultimate goal of this project is to promote a positive image of Oakland that unites and inspires its diverse population, while encouraging young talent to jumpstart their digital media careers.
"A great graphic designer is hard to come by, and students in Oakland with a penchant for art, design, advertising, creativity, and communication were given a professional opportunity recently by the Peralta Colleges in collaboration with the non profit organization ODALC, the Oakland Digital Arts and Literacy Center. Students entered their designs into the 2011 Inspire Oakland Digital Billboard contest and their masterpieces were judged by a panel of educators, designers, and business people."
PeraltaTV is the television station serving the Peralta Community College District. We are based at Laney College in Oakland, CA.
