A Computer Science professor describes how he became a spiritual leader, started Beit Simcha, a Messianic Jewish congregation in Allentown, Pennsylvania, and was ordained as a Messianic Rabbi.

Don't forget ,..when in the Lehigh Valley..check in on a couple of "elders" , Scott and Anita Smith, who, want you believe they are God-loving and righteous, but are evil enough to ignore Scott's mother who is 78 yrs old and ill. Scott refuses to acknowledge or help her....even take her grocery shopping.He's a mail man in Allentown, probably preaching along the way. Ask him how his mother is doing!

Furthermore, It's a repentance, not a conversion, when one comes to faith in the son of G-d, they actively attempt to turn away from sin(inwardly as well as outwardly). As a Messianic Jew, I worship with Gentiles in my synagogue. The Psalms are full of Praise and Worship as well as prophecy. King David wrote most of the Psalms. All you non-believers, We Love You, but remember Yeshua was meant for the Chosen People first, then the other nations(Gentiles). Shalom.

Jesus, or as his mother, Mary, called him for dinner as "Yeshua". He's Jewish. As a cultural Jew who read HEBREW scripture 5 years ago, found the prophecies in Daniel, Jeremiah, Isaiah, Zechariah and Micah to show that Yeshua's shedding of blood on the tree, came to pass. His shed blood is the propitiation of sin for Jew and Gentle. We are now one creature in Messiah. A person does not have to give up their heritage when they come to faith.

Being Jewish or something larger which is being an Israelite member. The promise was to Israel, Yahudah was just one of the tribes of Israel..I am part of Yisrael..

Perhaps so, but this isn't about Baptists and other Christians. This is about Christian Churches that dishonestly and offensively manipulate Jewish imagery to convey a message that is fundamentally un-Jewish. How would you feel if Muslims started making "Muhammad Churches" for Christians who "completed their relationship with God by accepting Muhammad's prophethood"

A quick look at Beit Simcha's website reveals its Christian theology. This is Christian. Not Jewish.

Yes, one doesn't lose the fact that they're born of Jewish parents, but a Jew in idolatry or apostasy is just that, an apostate. An apostate ex-Jew, perhaps, but still an apostate. That is precisely what this gentleman is, an apostate and idolater by the understanding of every school of Judaism. And no, Messianic believers are not Jews, in the same way that the Israelites who chose Baal over Adonai, were no longer Jews.
