train your punches and kicks with heavy bags, lift weights, jog, stretch and spar...that should do it

remind me never to let you run loose in my apartment

@mkdios122 I used to train Shotokan Karate of America (SKA) with Tsutomu Oshima as shihan. Wouldn't you consider that original also?

MUSHIN...........without the mind. Purely without thought. One reaches this level after many many hours and years of intense training in the traditional arts. This "hard" aspect of training is a significant part of reaching MUSHIN. The Samurai maintained a high level of MUSHIN. Osu!!!

Shotokan, shito ryu, kyokushin... i dont care the name of the style.. i just see a great training for any martial art...+1. I see the old way for conditioning and very useful for self defense.
Great training ,enjoyed the vid. very much! I specialy enjoyed seeing kage zuki being used , thats rare , and its such a powerfull punch. we just have to use a diferent type of kime than the one used on straight punches .
Oss !
P.S. was that a chelsea flag on the wall?

Not Shotokan, never saw that type training in a Shotokan dojo since 1964. This is typical Goju Ryu, Uechi Ryu. JKA Shotokan trains for tournaments and is a sport, not a martial art, not even karate. Original Shotokan can be found in Japan today, it is different.

@IEKUKATAKA.....Yes, not pure Shotokan. A small note that is attached to the vid: Traditional Karate Training the old way. Elements of my training are from not just Shotokan. I have mixed some of the Goju-Ryu methods I have used over the years. Thanks for your comment, perhaps you may post a vid of Shotokan..Osu!
