A video of me doing two sets of deadlifting, in that particular order. 1st set is 395lbs and 2nd set is 405lbs. I'm not that familiar with form so critiques are welcome, it's my first time seeing myself deadlift from the side and back.

  • Thanks for the advice guys, I've always had a little problem with deadlift form.

  • your legs lock out too soon, they should lock out at the same time as your back (at the end of the rep).

  • Yeah I'm trying to find a way to fix that problem but since the making of this video I've improved quite a bit on the back-straightening part of the lift. Thank you for the advice, that's why I posted them on here.

  • take off your shoes, they are raising your heels :S, straighten your back more its curved a bit at your lower back

  • thanks I think the shoes thing is a big deal. My shoes are kinda like running shoes with a thick heel/sole. When I get some money I'll invest in some lifting shoes (help for the squats too).

  • you need to try to keep your hips down longer and get more leg drive and always look up...other than that not bad at all.
