This is a combat fatality.

Her base was infiltrated by terrorist enemies of America, dressed up as "friendly" mercenaries. Those mercenary freaks captured PFC Johnson on her own base.

Her weapon was still with her when as prisoner, she was executed.

I'd look into a bronze star for valor award, because even after being tortured when she was moved to the place to be executed she still had her rifle with her.
