j: wha-what do you mean Natalie?
me: *sighs* dad, abt a week ago, ty told me, he told me, *sighs* he said he loved me.
j: *speechless*
me: he said, well, after realizing that hes always cared for me and that he does things for me, he came to understand that he wasnt just doing those things because I was his best friend. He said it was because he loved me. Because he cared for me as more than a friend.
j: he-you-how do you feel?
me: I dont know. tys my best friend. And thats all Ive ever seen him to be. But-but if I consider him to be someone that close to my heart, *looks straight into Joes eyes* Im gonna lose him. just like everyone else.
j: *holds back his tears & strokes her cheek* Natalie, youre not gonna lose him just because you put him close to your heart.
me: yes. I am dad. I lose everything I ever cared abt. Pretty soon, Ill lose you, and uncle nick, uncle Kevin, uncle Frankie, even grandma and grandpa.

j: *hugs her* youre not gonna lose any of us. Even if you wanted to. its unfortunate nat, that all those things happened to you and you lost your friends and- *holds his anger* your bf. And your mother. *sighs* you didnt just lose your mom nat. I lost my wife. Everyone else lost a friend. Its unfortunate and its just bad luck. But that does not mean everyone you love and who loves you is gonna leave you.
me: sth will happen dad. Sth bad and then me and ty will never be friends again.
j: didnt you and kam and Sam become friends again?
me: thanks to some kind of random luck. What if Im not so lucky when it comes to ty?

j: everyone creates their own luck. If you hadnt given them a chance to explain themselves, you wouldnt have had them as friends again. if sth does happen, then Natalie, you just have to work through it. but that is not the real question here nat. do you like ty in that way?
me: I dont know. I never really thought abt it. I mean hes sweet, funny and cute. Hes really nice to me and I care abt him a lot and omg. I feel like I just described you.
j: *laughs*
me: *giggles* to be honest, when ty did tell me he had feelings for me, it didnt feel weird you know?
j: *confused*

me: its like when you say someones your best friend, most of the time you treat them like your brother or sister. And when all of a sudden they tell you they like you, it should feel weird shouldnt it? like my own brother telling me he has feelings for me. But it didnt. it almost felt nice. Sweet. Romantic. Maybe, just like ty, I-well, unknowingly like him too.
j: *trying not to freak out*
me: *hides her face in her hands* did I just honestly say that to you?
j: *removes her hands & smiles* I promise not to freak out this time.
me: really? How come?

j: Ive known ty longer than Id known ronny. Just like I said, true colours take time to reveal. And after knowing ty for this long, Im pretty sure that hes through and through a really sweet & caring boy. Furthermore, nat, he was your friend first. Thats the first step to any relationship. Friendship shows you the trust and care you have for a person. And after that, a relationship would definitely be undeniably good. I cant be sure whether you and ty will last forever, but Im pretty sure that you both trust and care for each other a lot. And nth can defeat that.
me: are you really telling me to go out with ty?
j: *surprised* actually, yes. yes I am.
me: wow. Thats a first.
j: nat, you should talk to ty.
me: *sighs* not right now. I need my space.
j: alright. Do what you wish. But Natalie, never let a gd thing slip away.
me: *smiles* thanks daddy.
j: *kisses her head & leaves*
me: *lays down & takes her moms pic* help me out a little mom. Tell me what to do. *hugs the photo & slowly falls asleep*

*next day - with nick*
n: *rings Joes doorbell*
j: hey nick. Whats up?
n: Ive made a decision. Im going on tour.
j: didnt you just-
n: Im going again. as soon as possible. Im leaving this place for a while. I cant stand it anymore. I cant stand seeing becca all the time and realizing Im not with her. I cant stand being right beside her but shes ignoring me. I just cant take it anymore. Im leaving. I dont know when but soon.
j: *speechless* maybe you should come in for a while.
both: *walk in*

*with aye & matt*
a: *running arn the kitchen getting her stuff*
m: *running & jumping playing with his action figure*
a: matt, are you rdy?
m: yes! yes!
a: ok. go get your jacket. Mommys gonna be really late for work.
m: *skips & gets his jacket* mommy Im gonna be late too!
a: dont worry. And since when are you so excited to get to daycare?
m: kevkev said hes got a present for me today and I wanna see what it is! Hurry up mommy!
a: ok! ok! lets g- matt what did you just say?
