Mary Weekes Tallaght Dublin SAINT bolbrook

Mary Weekes is an amazing person, saintly, strong, wise, a person you will meet and never forget. She has helped many thousands in her area, taking care of children at a time when social services were not yet set up correctly.
She is a true individual, making up her own mind and not letting society or religion tell her what how to think or behave.
She has suffered, her husband beat her and through drinking left the family in a state of desperate poverty. In 1992 her son Thomas Weekes was murdered by a local thug who got away with it due to bad detective work by local Tallaght Gaurds. In 1996 her husband who was then dry and a close friend died with Cancer.
In 2007 Mary herself fought a brave battle against lung cancer and won. Probably because she is so naturally positive and loves her family and friends too much to let herself pass away too soon.
In Oct 2007 her family Sean T O Sallaigh and Ruth Weekes held this party to celebrate the life of Mary Weekes
