what type of line do you use?

Nice video! I really need to try the balloon float method. I mostly use slip-bobbers at this point.

@GONEFISHING95 most likely the ballon method

i use large sized shiners from my local bait shop and they are only about 3 inched long but when i fish for brim for bait i always catch those didn't know you could use them as bait and i was wondering what city and state and the lake you are fishing!!! nice vid!!!

@357magnum98 Me i fish with shiners all the time in FL. I use a good 5-6 inch bobber. I usely have my bait about 1 foot to 1.5 feet under water. In a good mornin out of 12 shiners i land about 10 bass.
i just went fishing today at my pond wth shiners i caught same size as urs and had a lot of bass hitting the bait on the surface or under the water but would not get hooked should i just use something smaller or hook the shiner in the back instead of the mouth

@dustyindy Go to my web-site and you can order my Shiner fishing dvd that will teach you all you need to know about shiner fishing for trophy bass...if you hook the shiner in the back you will get more hook ups but you will have to still fish ...you can not troll a shiner hooked in this manner. Good luck fishing!

Hi Fisher, Yes i use ballons most of the time, but its really according to the situation, they are alot easier to take on & off, & it gives the bait a little more movement. can cover alot more area. if i want him to be in a certain area, i'll put something alittle more restricted to impede his movements,or trim his fins.anyway thanks, Brian.

I don't see why you could'nt, long as it's not too large, bass will eat just about anything alive, as long as she can swallow it, and sometimes even if they can't they will still try, i've found them dead floating, with a large bait stuck in their throat, yeah, give it a try, we have nothing to lose, and everything to gain, like knowledge!
