Excerpts from James Lovelock's lecture on the current climate crisis, global heating and the future of our planet. Will we evolve to become as integral to the planet as the plants and photosynthesis? Can we take up the challenge to see the Earth as one, emergent system, or organism? Our future depends upon that recognition today.

  • We will survive! Huminity has woke up just in time with the right amount of people in my opinion, I feel as if there will be quite a massive shift in consciousness of the masses in the coming year, especially in the young generation.

Don't ask me why... I just feel it.

  • Intriguing. I think if people act in time, that they can save the planet. But, I also think that if people do want to save the planet that they should pretty soon because time is running out for the blue planet. I just feel that it's up to our generation to do something about global warming.

  • Hehe. At least you have a kind of a sense of humor.

  • Intriguing? thats one way to describe it. Why this "something" chooses for its recipients people who can't even spell is beyond me. though, Christ chose the meek so i guess its fitting for a contempary religion to do the same.

  • By Zeus! I swear its true. The male protagonist is a young man from Estonia who is so beyond human consciousness that he invited by aliens to dock "intellectually" with their mothership.

  • agree, no Wilber in there.

  • I was responding to phcou and yes!

  • Well it's not a Wilber video. I didn't mention Wilber at all did i?
