In this Tutorials i will show you an advenced way to rig the Eye for your cot-out character.
Most animators split the eye into three layers and the eyball always inbetween, but in ths i will use only two
layers and i will use the colour override module to select just the pupil colour and use the cutter module to cut the eye ball from the pupil.
i hope this will help .

  • Wow, I can't even find the damn color override module. . . can someone help with that?

  • @Brandonisrad18 what version of toon boom you're using??? Animate or Animate pro?

  • @jamalanimation Hi Jamal, I found the tool after a huge search through some forums, turns out I had somehow turned it off and it is located in the Module library. I am using Toon Boom animate pro btw but it still doesn't work for me. I'm not sure if its the way I have my network set up or what, but each time I try to link it with the pupil " which is what I am trying to move on my character" it makes it disappear. Could I maybe send you the file and let you look at it for me?

  • @Brandonisrad18 . Hi . make it for you and i will send it to you by PM ok? and hope it'll work , this technique is a little tricky

  • Thank you!
