LYRICS:

I felt it in my feet
And I saw her in my dreams
"Let's keep on running" she said to me
"Our train is coming can you believe?"
Let's go back

Girls they come and go
But you, well I should know
Not even my cooking could put you off
Or my double booking of table cloths
Let's go back

And our minds are so much bigger than our bank accounts
And the world is so much smaller than at first glance
I'd feel so much better, as a wave stuck in the sea
But now I know you're dreaming here with me

Days are all the same,
And nights a changing game
Let's go back now or we are are stuck
I just need you and some good luck
Let's go back

I will, take you there
Everywhere that you, wanna go
We will go, Paris, Venice, Rome
Catch a plane and I will take you home

And our minds are so much bigger than our bank accounts
And the world is so much smaller than at first glance
I'd feel so much better, as a wave stuck in the sea
But now I know you're dreaming here with me

And our minds are so much bigger than our bank accounts
And the world is so much smaller than at first glance
I'd feel so much better, as a wave stuck in the sea
But now I know you're dreaming here with me

  • @Foreverwilduk ah cool, yeah she's great Emily Down. I haven't actually done anything since with her, but there's a few plans in the pipeline. She's really into her musical theatre, so it was nice to do something a little more subdued. Cheers man, if I need a mix done I'll have a look into your stuff. Have you got any samples?

  • @surfingers No Problem!! It's something I found with all your mixes and just wanted to throw some encouragement in there. Also My offer to mix something wasn't touting for work, was a genuine offer. Also i was looking for other work by the girl you did the duet with, but couldnt find anything, she has a great voice and would like to hear more of her stuff. Keep up the good work. :)

  • @Foreverwilduk hi, thanks! This one is just a quick job into Garageband actually, using an Apogee One as the interface. Yep, I guess to be honest I didn't give too much thought to the space of the mix in the end as I only really intended it to be a demo. Thanks though!!

  • Stumbled upon your channel and glad i did. Enjoyed listening to some of your work. What DAW do you use? You record you tracks well, only ctique i have is in your final mix, it all seems to end up in the centre of the stereo field. Don't be afraid to experiment with panning and using reverb and short and long delays to layer and put things in there own space. I would love to do a mix of one of your tracks if you didn't mind. Message me and let me know and keep up the good work.
